Through this immersive experience, Plato's Lounge aims to create a space for contemplation, dialogue, and shared human experience, echoing the philosophical inquiries that have traversed history from Plato's time to our own.

For this Exhibition I designed advertising posters, pamphlet and stickers. The posters are composed of images I took of my clothing in second year University that were overexposed with a low shutter speed. I just took piles of my clothes outside and then shook my camera around for these colourful effects. A few years later they came in handy when making an exhibition entirely out of textiles I thought these images would be fitting. After this I scanned a piece of lace I had to make an overlay and then asked some freiends to write out the dates and times for the poster. I always think the easiest way to spice up a poster is to not use google fonts and to use the most outrageous fonts possible. Since gallery 115 is billingual having to make an english and french veersion I made tons of versions with all the clothes pictures I had and I just couldnt stop. I think the idea that different people saw different posters advertising is fun.
Through seminars and workshops, the ART 4119 Curating for Contemporary Art course requires students of art history and practice to collaborate, create their own exhibition, and provide a critical context for it. This year, we selected the theme of the garden and read Derek Jarman's diaries of his coasta garden at Prospect Cottage as inspiration. The result is an exhibition that brings the garden to the gallery and immerses the viewer in the senses while evoking both the memories and possible futures that the garden can have in these times of crises.

During my time in this class I was placed in this install group which is how TIG was formed. Having the oppurtunity to publish an entire catalogue for an exhibition taking place in a peer reviewed gallery was very exciting. I designed a panphlet for viewers of the exhibition to read more in depth and produced and published 40 copies of our catalogue.
